1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any Quantum Loom products, services, or websites — including quantumloom.io, wifimothership.com, the Quantum Loom intelligence platform, and AirFence hardware devices (collectively, the "Services") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Description of Services
Quantum Loom, Inc. provides:
- AirFence Hardware — Wardriving and RF collection devices sold as kits or pre-assembled units.
- WiFi Mothership — A community platform for uploading, visualizing, and analyzing wireless network data.
- Quantum Loom Platform — An enterprise infrastructure intelligence and geospatial analytics platform.
3. Accounts and Registration
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws. You shall not:
- Use the Services to intercept, decode, or access communications or data you are not authorized to access.
- Use AirFence hardware or WiFi Mothership data in any manner that violates applicable wiretapping, surveillance, or privacy laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, other users' accounts, or connected systems.
- Use the Services to harass, stalk, or threaten any person.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any proprietary software components of the Services.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Services without written authorization.
You acknowledge that wardriving and wireless network scanning may be subject to varying laws by jurisdiction. It is your sole responsibility to understand and comply with the laws applicable in your location.
5. Hardware Products
AirFence devices are sold for educational, research, and authorized security assessment purposes. Quantum Loom makes no representations about the legality of specific use cases in your jurisdiction. Hardware is sold "as-is" after the applicable warranty period. DIY kits are provided without assembly warranty — assembled units include a 1-year limited hardware warranty covering manufacturing defects.
6. Data and Privacy
Data uploaded to WiFi Mothership becomes part of the community database. By uploading data, you grant Quantum Loom a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, display, and distribute that data as part of the Services. You represent that you have the right to upload any data you submit.

7. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks, are the property of Quantum Loom, Inc. or its licensors. Open-source hardware designs and firmware are licensed under their respective open-source licenses (MIT or CERN-OHL). The Quantum Loom, WiFi Mothership, and AirFence names and logos are trademarks of Quantum Loom, Inc.
8. Subscription Services
Paid subscriptions (WiFi Mothership Pro, Enterprise, and Quantum Loom Platform) are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.
9. API Usage
API access is subject to rate limits as published in our documentation. Excessive use, abuse, or circumvention of rate limits may result in throttling or termination of API access. API keys are confidential and must not be shared or published.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. QUANTUM LOOM DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUANTUM LOOM, INC. AND ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
IN NO EVENT SHALL QUANTUM LOOM'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO QUANTUM LOOM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Quantum Loom, Inc. and its founders, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Georgia, USA, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
